Anupama Damunupola is a dedicated academic and researcher affiliated with the Department of Archaeology. Specialising in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Her research, such as the study of the Colombo Dutch Museum and the commercialisation of Sri Lankan heritage, underscores her expertise in utilising archaeological assets for sustainable tourism. An award-winning researcher and certified Publons Academy member, she remains a vital link between the Department of Archaeology and the broader hospitality industry, ensuring cultural heritage is both preserved and professionally promoted.
