Dr. Sriyani Hathurusinghe is a Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. A dedicated researcher and academic, she holds a PhD and BA from the University of Kelaniya, as well as an MSc and Postgraduate Diploma from the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology (PGIAR). Her expertise spans prehistory, ancient irrigation systems, and environmental archaeology, focusing on the complex relationship between early civilisations and their natural landscapes. Dr. Hathurusinghe is committed to advancing the field of archaeological research and heritage management within the South Asian context.
